Why did you decide to become a Physical Therapist?

My interest in Physical Therapy began at a young age while attending multiple therapy sessions with my younger brother and seeing the positive impact his physical therapists were making. I decided this career path at seven years of age and never looked back.

What do you hope patients gain/accomplish from your time together?

Confidence to perform exercises independently and feel empowered to ask more questions and take control of their health journey.

What do you want your patients to be able to tell you so you can help them be successful?

Preferred learning style, goals, and activities they enjoy in their free time. To be able to combine all three can help make the rehab experience more enjoyable.

What is the one thing you believe people can do to improve their health?

Move! Movement is medicine, and prevention is key. Early access to care and preventing issues from escalating can improve a patient's health and well-being.
